Spaniard could train with his team-mates on Tuesday or Wednesday...

madrid defender sergio ramos is expected to return to full training with Los Blancos this week after a lay-off that had ruled him out of the club's pre-season preparations, according to Marca.

Ramos was hampered by a groin injury and Achilles trouble in his left ankle, but it is expected that he may train with the first team as early as Tuesday.

The versatile, 23-year-old, defender has spent most of the summer in the gym recuperating and did so again on Monday as Madrid had their first full training session after two days off.

Only twelve players took part in the session due to international duties for most of the club's stars.

One such player likely for a prompt return to the Spanish capital is Brazilian playmaker Kaka. Although not yet official, he is expected to return on Tuesday or Wednesday as he will miss Brazil's qualifier against Chile due to suspension.
