Olympique Marseille Defender Gabriel Heinze Nervous Ahead Of Real Madrid Clash

Former Real Madrid defender Gabriel Heinze has admitted that he has a tough task ahead of him on Wednesday night when Olympique Marseille face los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Heinze will come up against Cristiano Ronaldo, with whom he played alongside during their time together at Manchester United, and the Argentine told the French club's official website that he cannot afford to lose his concentration.

"Cristiano is a player with so many qualities that it is difficult to talk about advice," he mused.

"I can be given all the advice in the world, but if you lose concentration for even a second against him, he will punish you."

It is not only those on the pitch that concern Heinze, as the defender has also witnessed the Bernabeu crowd on numerous occasions when he turned out for los Merengues. Now on the opposite side, he has warned his team-mates that the Madrid public will make it difficult for OM.

"There is always a good atmosphere - not only in the Champions League but also in the league. There is huge pressure on their opponents."
