Coach Manuel Pellegrini had ten players at his disposal for today’s training after eleven first teamers had left for their respective national teams. Sergio Ramos, Garay and Granero worked indoors.
Pellegrini had a chat with Guti and Higuain at the start of the session, proving once more that dialogue is an important part of his system.
Ten players trained at Valdebebas this morning. Sergio Ramos did recovery exercises on his own, as well as Esteban Granero and Ezequiel Garay. The rest jogged around the pitch and did stretching exercises. Meanwhile, Dudek and Adan worked out with keeper coach Xabier Manicisidor. Tactical and ball exercises ensued.
