Real Madrid Made Set-Piece Errors Against Sevilla - Kaka

Real Madrid playmaker Kaka blamed poor set-piece defending for his sides 2-1 Primera Liga defeat to Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium.

"Against a team like Sevilla, you cannot have failures like we have had from free-kicks," he was quoted as saying by AS.

Headed goals from Jesus Navas and Renato were enough to give the home side victory and push them level with Madrid on points in the league. Pepe had pulled Madrid level, before Renato's header restored Sevilla's lead.

Kaka says his side had to lose eventually, and went on to say that the key for his side now is how they respond to the defeat.

He continued, "The game was very intense and we knew that one day we would lose, but now we have to show the character of this team and keep working to improve."

Madrid's next league game is a home tie with Real Valladolid after the international break on October 18.
